This exquisite Peruvian double-chambered vase features a male figure seated atop one of the chambers, which is designed to resemble a small chair or outlet. The vase is adorned with geometric patterns in yellow and black paint. While it is likely from Peru, possibly from the Moche culture, there is some uncertainty due to the coarser and more textured clay compared to typical Moche ceramics.
Provenance: Former private collection, Copenhagen.

Condition: Very good condition, with a single crack along the front of the figure.
