Vishnu, one of the principal deities of Hinduism, is often depicted with four arms holding various attributes. These typically include a conch (Shankha), a discus (Chakra), a mace (Gada), and a lotus flower (Padma). The Varada Mudra, seen in the upper right hand of this figure, is a gesture of charity, compassion, and boon-granting, symbolizing Vishnu's benevolence.
Bronze figures of Hindu deities were commonly produced in India during the 19th and 20th centuries, reflecting a blend of traditional craftsmanship and regional styles. These figures were used in both temple worship and household shrines, serving as focal points for devotion and prayer.
