This very fine small Greek, most likely Etruscan, terracotta figure dates back to around the 5th/4th century BC. The figure depicts a female (as is common with Greek terracotta figures) adorned with a headdress that cascades behind the shoulders. The details of her dress or robe are also discernible. The figure is moulded and hollow inside, which aligns it with the time frame mentioned.

Previous owner drilled hole to be able to hang it on the wall.

Provenance: Former private collection, heirloom from grandfather, acquired in the 1920s.

Culture & Date: Greek, Etruscan, ca. 500 - 400 BC.

Condition: Fine, with a hole drilled for hanging.
