This beautiful black-figure squat-lekythos from Attica features intricate black paint details around the neck and base. The earliest Attic black-figure pottery dates back to around 610 BC. By 560 BC, the style had evolved, leading to the creation of some of the most exquisite black-figure pieces over the next 30 years.
Provenance: Ex. private collection, Alleroed, Denmark.
Culture & Date: Greek, Attic, 500 - 300 BC.
Condition: Okay, with small chips in the body.
