This finely detailed mother figure, representing a divine being in the Indus Valley culture, exemplifies the intricate artistry of the period. The figure features a pointed, almost bird-like nose, typical sunken eyes, a small oval mouth, and a simple double-rowed headdress with traces of black paint under the earthy encrustations. Additionally, the figure wears a distinctive five-row necklace.

These figures were handcrafted around 4,000 - 5,000 years ago, with potters typically using a reed to cut out the details.
