Byzantine Oil Lamp with Dotted Pattern

This nice little Byzantine oil lamp features a dotted pattern. The lamp has a unique history, having been passed down through two generations and reportedly found in a dig near Stockholm, possibly in a crusader or pilgrim's grave.

Provenance: Denmark; Elise Vendt, received as a gift for her birth in 1957.

Condition: Okay condition, with a chip (see picture).
