Classic Byzantine Oil Lamp (Syro-Palestine), 400 - 600 AD

This beautiful Byzantine oil lamp from around the 5th century features a fine geometric pattern consisting of straight lines and circles with dots. The lamp is approximately pear-shaped and mould-made, exemplifying a classic Byzantine design.
